2008 Residential Brush Burning Permit

January 15^th through May 1^st

The Kingston Fire Department has installed a new Burning Permit Program.

Any Kingston resident who applied for an open burning permit for 2007 does not need to fill out a new application this year, but must call the station to activate their existing permit and obtain a permit number.

Any owner of a residential property who wishes to obtain a new open burning permit should fill out an application at the Kingston Fire Department, 105 Pembroke Street, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM.

There is no fee for the permit and the applications will be available beginning December 1, 2007. For residents who have a permit, open burning will be allowed starting January 15^th and ending on May 1^st.
